Meet Olga
I’m Olga, the owner and principal photographer at George Chalkiadakis Pro Art Photography Studio. I feel genuinely lucky to share in the love between two people, and to work with such wonderful couples.
Based in Chania, Crete, I’ve been photographing weddings for over 20 years. There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t have my camera with me (and usually a tripod in tow, too).
After graduating from the Polytechnic University of Saint Petersburg with a degree in photography, and completing art school, I began documenting weddings for friends and family to build my portfolio and refine my style.
In 2005, I married George, who supported me as I continued to grow the studio and build my business. It’s been a long journey with challenges along the way, but I’m truly grateful for where I am today.

How do we book you for our wedding?
Once you’ve selected your desired collection, a signed agreement and a 30% retainer are required to secure your date. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can we customize a collection?
Absolutely! Every celebration is unique, and I offer tailored options for destination weddings, multi day events, and intimate elopements. I’d be delighted to create a bespoke proposal that reflects your vision.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I photograph weddings and elopements across Greece and Europe, including Crete, Santorini, Milos, Sifnos, Italy and Iceland. Travel fees are included or quoted separately depending on the destination and logistics.
How many images will we receive?
You can expect approximately 800-1000 color corrected images and 100–300 edited photographs for a full-day wedding. Each image is carefully edited in my signature style — timeless, elegant, and true to the atmosphere of the day.
When will we receive our photos?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 8–10 weeks after your wedding. You’ll receive a private online gallery link where you can view, download, and share your images with family and friends.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes, I offer handcrafted fine art albums and prints, designed to preserve your memories in a tangible, luxurious way. Album design can be added at any stage of the process.
What happens if it rains or the weather changes?
I always adapt to the environment and light conditions, ensuring your photos remain beautiful regardless of the weather. For elopements, we can adjust the timeline slightly if needed to capture the best light.
Do you work with a second photographer?
For larger weddings or multi-location events, I may recommend including a second photographer to
ensure full coverage. This can be added to any collection.
What is your photography style?
My approach blends fine art direction with natural, documentary storytelling — capturing authentic emotion with an editorial luxury touch. The result is refined yet heartfelt imagery that feels timeless.
How far in advance should we book?
Typically book 9–18 months in advance for weddings, and 3–6 months for elopements. If you have a specific date in mind, I recommend inquiring as early as possible.
